Senior Staff Engineer – Verification IP (VIP) Product Development

Job Description

Our client is a world-class Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and Silicon IP product giant, engineering the core software tools and verification IPs that power the global semiconductor ecosystem.

Target Level & Seniority: Senior Staff / Technical Product Anchor (8–12+ Years)

Key Professional Responsibilities:

1. Architect, program, and continuously optimize commercial-grade Verification IP (VIP) products in SystemVerilog conforming precisely to international interface standard bodies.
2. Build highly parameterized, highly flexible, and universally reusable UVM verification components, bus monitors, and active protocol checkers designed for cross-vendor customer deployment.
3. Provide high-level architectural debugging support for elite corporate clients to isolate root-cause issues occurring between VIP code layers and the customer's proprietary custom SoC interface.
4. Map, develop, and test product compliance suites for hyper-advanced interconnect protocols (including PCIe Gen6/7, AMBA CHI-E, CXL, DDR5/DFI, or 800G/1.6T Ethernet).

Core Technical Competencies Required:

1. Languages & Frameworks: Expert-level SystemVerilog, commercial-grade UVM design, Protocol Compliance Architecture, Assertion-Based Validation (SVA).
2. High-Speed Protocols: Deep technical specification command over PCIe, AMBA (AXI5, CHI, ACE), CXL, DDR5, or ultra-high-bandwidth Ethernet configurations.
