Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Linux Display Driver Engineer to join a high-performance embedded software team developing display technologies for advanced embedded platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux display driver development, multimedia frameworks, and embedded software, with the ability to build, integrate, and optimize display solutions in Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Linux display drivers for embedded platforms.
- Develop and enhance multimedia software components related to display technologies.
- Integrate display subsystems within Linux-based embedded environments.
- Debug and resolve complex display and multimedia software issues.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system engineering teams during software integration and validation.
- Optimize display software for stability, reliability, and performance.
- Participate in software reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong programming experience in C and C++ for embedded software development.
- Hands-on experience with Linux Device Driver development.
- Experience developing or supporting Multimedia Drivers.
- Strong understanding of DRM (Direct Rendering Manager).
- Experience with KMS (Kernel Mode Setting).
- Working knowledge of Weston Compositor.
- Experience working in Embedded Linux environments.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MIPI DSI.
- Knowledge of DisplayPort technology.
- Experience working on embedded display technologies and display subsystem integration.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
