Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Kernel Engineer to join a high-performance embedded software team developing next-generation embedded and connected systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, Linux Kernel, and Embedded Linux software development, with hands-on experience in multithreading, IPC, debugging, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software for Embedded Linux platforms with Linux Kernel exposure.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues across embedded Linux environments.
- Work with Linux Kernel concepts, IPC mechanisms, multithreading, and synchronization.
- Refactor and optimize software for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Design modular software components and well-defined APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain source code using Git and follow software development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous software quality improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C and C++.
- Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux and Linux Kernel.
- Good understanding of Linux Kernel architecture and internals.
- Strong knowledge of Inter-Process Communication (IPC) mechanisms.
- Good understanding of multithreading, thread synchronization, and concurrent programming.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in Embedded Linux environments.
- Experience in code refactoring and performance optimization.
- Experience with Git-based version control systems.
- Familiarity with software architecture, modular design, and API development.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Linux system programming.
- Knowledge of POSIX APIs and system-level programming.
- Experience working on real-time embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
