Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Bluetooth Software Engineer to join a high-performance embedded software team developing advanced wireless connectivity solutions for next-generation connected devices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Bluetooth software development, protocol stack implementation, feature integration, and troubleshooting complex connectivity issues in embedded environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Bluetooth software for embedded platforms.
- Develop and enhance Bluetooth stack features and protocol implementations.
- Integrate Bluetooth functionality with embedded software and firmware components.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex Bluetooth software and interoperability issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for software defects and customer-reported issues.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, validation, and system engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Optimize Bluetooth software for performance, stability, and reliability.
- Participate in software design reviews, testing, and continuous product improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++.
- Strong understanding of Bluetooth specifications and wireless communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Bluetooth protocol stacks and software development.
- Experience working with Bluetooth profiles such as A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP, HID, GATT, GAP, SPP, or similar.
- Experience in Bluetooth software integration, feature development, and troubleshooting.
- Strong debugging, protocol analysis, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience working on embedded software or firmware development projects.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
- Familiarity with Bluetooth protocol analyzers and debugging tools.
- Experience developing software for consumer electronics, IoT, automotive, or connected devices.
- Knowledge of Bluetooth qualification and interoperability testing.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
